Busted Black Shorts

My usual black shorts for the weekend got busted during a wash a few days back (the zipper disappeared in the washing machine!). As there were no other black shorts, I pulled out this pair which I had not worn since purchasing it last year. Pretty glad that it happened, or else I would have been so lazy and continued to wear it just like every other weekend.

Uh-oh, my secret is out. I am a very, very lazy dresser during weekends.

I Wore My Fav Scarf to Work with My Fav Bag

A work outfit I took some time back and say hello to my brand new bag!

The previous work bag completely gave way while running around town working, so bag shopping right after work ended was crucial. Walked past Accessorize and this bag caught my eye. Paid for it almost immediately, never mind it is not the most practical bag around. (One of its beading dropped the very next morning!)

Don't you simply love how outrageous this bag is? One of the hardest pieces to match with my daily outfits, I really love this bag as it shoved me out of my comfort zone and brighten up anything I wear.

Oh yes, and I love my scarf too. The mix of colours and tassles are utterly beautiful! Expect to see more posts with this scarf.

When evening came, it was time for my birthday party thrown by The Friends. Was working on my actual birthday which happened last month so it was held yesterday instead. Surrounded by the loveliest people, it was awesome.

Hello there...

Brand new purchases this week! (though I am aware that it is not over yet)

Celine inspired Boston Nano bag and Ray Ban Wayfarers

I love bags that have both handles and a strap. They are practical and functional. I hate bags that are too big for one because they kill your back and give you the tendency to dump everything inside. So when I saw the Celine Boston Nano bag sometime back, I fell in love. Though I adore Celine, it is the size and the fact it has both handles and a strap that got me falling in love with it. It is the bag that I can carry anywhere and everywhere for weekends. After hunting high and low everywhere for a similar version, I finally found it!

As for the Wayfarers, I had always wanted a pair for the longest time but did not get it as I wore glasses previously and never dared venture to contact lenses until this year. After much research on the types I really liked and had originally planned to get it for myself as a birthday gift... but was broke even before it came (and wanted to spend it all on Hansel). Two days ago I made up my mind to get it this Sat but luck decided I should have it right away.
