I Heart Bags

Haven't shopped for a fairly long time and I find it difficult to get a bag I will love... So when these two bags caught my eye, I knew I had to get them. 

Unlike clothes or accessories, I don't buy bags so easily on a whim anymore because I used to buy so many of them at one go, only to realise I would carry either one or two eventually and discard the rest. Though that was a few years back and I have reformed (obviously, because my room can only store so much), it still stings to think how much money I have wasted buying so many bags I don't even need in the first place! 

Now, I only buy them when I need them or I will actually carry them, which means, I rarely buy bags anymore. 

I really loved this shade of blue and it helps that the size of the bag is absolutely perfect! It isn't too big or too small, just right. 

I am always trying to find THE bag that will carry me seamlessly from day to night so it was love at first sight when I found this! 

This was a surprise purchase. I am never a person who would hang stuff on my bag but when I saw this bag charm, I just had to get it! Isn't it gorgeous? Now, it is the accessory for the bag.

One of my favourite work outfits and the rare times I actually wore a skirt much less a dress to work. Oh and these are my brand new shoes! 

Debated really hard on whether to get them because frankly, one can either look like a granny or really rock the look in them. But went ahead since it has been a long time I had bought shoes. And because I naively thought it would be a breeze to walk them since No:1 - they are clog heels (I don't buy unrealistic heels shoes example: high skinny heels anymore because they don't get out much from the shoe closet and it is simply too impractical) and No:2 - I tried them and they felt okay. No: 3 - they are simply too gorgeous to pass up. 

Until I took them out the next morning and wore them where the hard material spent a nice chunk of time rubbing the sides of my feet till I had fifty cent coin blisters. Silly me decided to continue wearing them the next day because stubbornly, I held on to my will to break into the shoes and I would get over the discomfort. Sighs, so I made sure I put on double plasters on each blister and wore them out. 

At the end of the day, I was ready to cry my eyes out. IT HURT. SERIOUSLY. Gory details alert! The skin from the blisters by the side of my feet had been ripped apart and even no plasters can save me. Two small portions from my lovely flesh of the feet were exposed and I almost did not want to shower that night. IT WAS THAT PAINFUL. 

Yes, so I survived to tell this tale, though a few months old. But I am still darn going to continue wearing them! (But not at this moment, what? Are you kidding me?) This time, my plasters would be better placed and I will put loads of it. 

See what a pair of gorgeous shoes can do to me. I never learn.

Oh yep, due to persistent back and neck pains, I decided to wean off my love for big bags in favour of a smaller bag on the same day (see above). Sighs, if it does not get better soon, I guess I would need to pay the Doc a visit.

Took a fabulous family trip to KL to celebrate The Mum's birthday
over last weekend and obviously, the trip would not
be completed without A&W.  
Hunted for it high, low and everywhere before finally we found it!
Even when people tell me it does not exist anymore.
The lamest part of the story?
There was also another outlet in the shopping mall
of a hotel we were staying at.
And we spent 1/2 of cab ride and 2 hours of walking trying
to find it somewhere else.
One of the biggest face palm moment.
